Amazon.com has posted an exclusive video for Bob Dylan's new song "Dreamin' of You." The song, which dates from the Time Out of Mind sessions, is from Bootleg Series Volume 8: Tell Tale Signs, due October 7th. Amazon does not allow the embedding of said video, but you can see it here.
The video stars longtime Dylan bud and fellow oddball Harry Dean Stanton as an enterprising bootlegger of modern-day moonshine, Dylan bootlegs.
This is not the first time Mr. Tambourine Man and the Repo Man have worked together. The two appeared onstage at the 1989 Chabad Telethon alongside Dylan's son-in-law Peter Himmelman, to perform a couple of traditional Hebrew folk songs. Dylan played recorder.
The group calls themselves Chopped Liver, a name I can't believe no one ever thought to use before. On the Dylan unpredicatbility scale, this one is off the charts. Smoke 'em if you got em.

The reason Zimmy likes Harry, I'm guessing, is because Harry lives by his own code. Namely the Repo Code. Learn it. Know it. Live it.
